Irish companies forced to discipline workers for social networking
Dublin-
Seven in ten Irish companies have disciplined their staff for using social networking sites like "Facebook". A new survey by Peninsula Ireland has found that some employees can waste up to ninety minutes a day checking their profiles. That's around 350 hours a year. The move has led to many firms now blocking the sites from their servers.
