Motorists urged to beware of snow and ice on roads
Dublin- Motorists are being advised to beware of possible black ice on the roads following freezing temperatures overnight.
Temperatures plunged to minus four degrees in some areas and the cold snap is expected to continue for much of this week. Drivers in areas affected by snow are being particularly urged to exercise extra caution. Meanwhile, several flights to and from the UK are facing further delays this morning due to the bad weather. Passengers flying out of the country this morning are being advised to check with their airline before setting off for the airport.
