Cold snap continues across Ireland
Dublin-Ireland's cold snap is continuing this morning. Yesterday saw snow and ice on many roads in the Midlands, North and west of the country. Hail, sleet and snow showers are being forecast today, while it will be wet and windy in the east. Motorists are being advised to be extra careful, as icy conditions yesterday led to a number of minor accidents across the country. It will become increasingly cold as the day goes on, with freezing temperatures expected tonight.
