Asthma website launched to support sufferers
Dublin- Vital advice and support will be at the touch of a button for almost half a million asthma sufferers across Ireland, it emerged today. The Asthma Society of Ireland has re-launched its website to provide up-to-date information on asthma triggers, medicines, treatment, and best practice management in the event of an asthma attack. New features include a section for parents with children suffering from asthma and for teachers who may have students with asthma in their class. The website – www.asthmasociety.ie – also boasts a separate section, entitled 'Airplay', dedicated to educating children with asthma in a fun, child friendly way.
