Aer Lingus plane being checked after smoke was found coming from the aircraft
Dublin- An investigation is underway after smoke was detected coming from an Aer Lingus plane at Dublin Airport earlier this morning.
The flight from New York landed in Dublin at about twenty past five and as the aircraft was taxing on stand, a member of Aer Lingus ground staff noticed what appeared to be smoke coming from the wheel of the plane. All 11 crew members and 272 passengers disembarked normally. The plane's currently being checked before re-entering service.
