Three days of national mourning in China
China- There will be three days of national mourning in China following the devastating earthquake. The country has suspended the Beijing Olympic torch relay as a mark of respect for the victims.
The country's President has voiced his gratitude for international relief. Thirty-two thousand people are now known to have died following the tremor. Strong aftershocks are continuing in some of the worst affected areas. Nine-thousand are believed to be buried under the rubble - but most are feared dead.
