Irish construction vacancies continue to rise
Dublin- Latest figures show the pace of job losses in the construction industry is still gathering pace in Ireland.
Employment in construction during March was 11.7 per cent lower than March last year. That compares with a 10.8 per cent annual fall in February. Around a quarter of a million workers are employed in construction but that compares with 270,000 employed in autumn of last year.
