Cork train services set to return to normal as strike ends
Dublin- Train services between Dublin and Cork are expected to return to normal in the coming hours following the ending of an unofficial strike by line inspection staff.The worker at the centre of the strike has agreed to take his pay dispute with the company to the Labour Relations Commission.Thousands of rail users were left stranded this afternoon following the cancellation of all commuter services in Cork, and a number of intercity services between Cork and Dublin.An Irish Rail spokesperson said this afternoon there would still be some disruption to a number of trains this evening before services return to normal.
