Road toll rises hit motorists
Dublin- Motorway toll charges have risen by between 10c and 20c across the country. The cost for a car using Dublin's M50 has risen to €2 , while the Eastlink toll has increased to €1.65. The M1 in Drogheda now costs €1.80; the M4 toll plaza between Kilcock and Enfield is €2.70 and the M8 Rathcormac/Fermoy Bypass has risen to €1.80.However, the Dublin Port tunnel charges remain unchanged.
