Consumer group slams transport price hikes
Dublin- The Consumer's Association has accused public transport operators of ripping off commuters. The cost of using Iarnród Éireann's bus, rail and DART services is to increase by around 5% from mid-week. Monthly tickets for Commuter trains will increase by €4.50.The cost of Luas tickets is also increasing by 10 cent from tomorrow. The Consumer's Association has said there is no justification for this type of increase.
