Dublin- The Food Safety Authority is warning consumers about a poisonous batch of frozen mussels. They were produced by Bantry Bay Seafoods and are being sold in Aldi stores in Ireland.
The batch of mussels, which have been reported to have caused illness in France, cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, and stomach cramps. Deputy Chief Executive of the Food Safety Authority of Ireland, Alan Reilly, is advising customers to return the mussels to the shop they were purchased in.
