Gardaí target drink drivers for bank holiday weekend
Dublin- Gardaí are continuing to target motorists who drink and drive this bank holiday with additional random breath testing checkpoints.
Road accidents have claimed the lives of 98 people so far this year in Ireland. Meanwhile, large crowds are expected to attend Kilbeggan race course later today and motorists should avoid the area if possible. Irene O'Brien from AA roadwatch has said that other areas to avoid include the N2 at Monaghan and the N3 through Dunshaughlin.
