New rules for hand luggage at British airports
From today, the one-bag restriction will be lifted at many UK airports.
Two carry-on bags per passenger will now be allowed at airports which comply with extra security checks.
However, a number of airlines will continue to restrict the number of bags which can be carried in to the cabin. Be sure to check with your airline before flying what their baggage policy is.
Among those changing their rules are Heathrow, Stansted, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Prestwick, Manchester and Birmingham.
