Dublin houses attacked with explosive devices

Dublin- Separate investigations are under way in Dublin city centre after two houses were attacked with suspected explosive devices. Gardaí are examining a device that was thrown into the back garden of a house on Francis Street at about 11.30pm last night.
The house was occupied at the time, but there are no reports of any injuries. The area has been sealed off and the army bomb disposal unit is at the scene. There was an arson attack on a house in the Tymon North estate at around 12.30am. No one was in the house at the time, but several residents in the estate were evacuated.
