Group calls for responsible drinking over holydays

Dublin- There are calls for a reduction in Irish alcohol consumption over the festive season.St Stephen's Day (the day after Christmas Day) is typically a busy day in pubs around the country.Alcohol Action Ireland is calling for responsible drinking in order to ensure a healthy and safe festive period.Executive Director Marion Rackard says consuming too much alcohol lowers our inhibitions, increases risk taking and makes us more vulnerable.
