More lives being saved on the Irish roads
Dublin- Road deaths are down almost 9 per cent this year, compared to 2006.
Up to yesterday evening, 336 people had lost their lives on the country's roads since last January. The Road Safety Authority says the fall is a result of drivers' greater compliance and measures put in place to save lives over the past 2 years. The RSA hopes to bring the annual death toll down to 250 by the year 2012.
