N11 opens after €34m upgrade

Dublin- A €34m upgrade on the N11 in Co Wicklow officially opens today।The Kilpedder interchange will ease traffic congestion in Delgany cutting the number of cars in the village by a quarter. It is hoped the new junction will also cater for increased traffic to and from Greystones when 3,000 planned houses are built on the edge of the town. The interchange will link the Greystones southern access route to the N11 and allow traffic to move east-west on and off the N11 serving Delgany, Kilpedder, Kilquade and Willow Grove.Local TD Dick Roche, Minister for European Affairs, will officially open the road.
