Irish Actress nominated for Oscar

Dublin- The nominees for the Academy Awards have been announced. Among them, irish actress Saoirse Ronan has been nominated for best supporting actress in 'Atonement'.
And Daniel Day Lewis, has been nominated for best actor in 'There will be blood'.
Saoirse spent eight years at Ardattin national school in Tullow County Carlow.
